circus February 25, 2008

Yesterday I went to the Kohinoor Circus! It was pretty fantastic. On the way over, we were discussing whether or not we’d even been to a circus. The general consensus of everyone was “I think I have, but I don’t remember…” So yeah, I’m sure a few of us will have to check with our mothers to see if this was
our first. They didn’t have as many animals as I thought they would but they did some pretty sweet stuff. I wish I had recorded the whole thing cause I could just hear Colin saying “dude, I could totally do that.”
Probably the sweetest part was when they brought out a giant elephant for some girl to hang from while spinning. Right before she started .. well, let’s just say “nature called” in the form of a waterfall. She didn’t get that wet, but damn it was funny.
Slightly off topic, my midsems went well overall and I’m trudging on with classes. In my Distributed Systems class, we have to do a semester project that we get to come up with. My friend Victor from next door gave me a pretty cool idea about collaborative lecture notes so I think I’m going to go in that direction. I won’t bore everyone here with the details, but I do have them if you’re interested.
You don’t remember that lighted sword that you just had to have the last time you went to the circus? You were probably about 6 or so. I can’t believe you don’t remember!! (jk)
Well, I for one have definitely been to a circus. How is Colin btw? I haven’t talked to him in a while. I should get on that.
Also, it was a pain in the ass to get this comment to actually post. At the bottom it said “Logged in as Mike”. As long as it said that, the text fields wouldn’t show and I’d get an error saying to fill in the name and email fields that didn’t exist. There was a logout button, but that just brought me to an error page because the url it directed me to didn’t have a question mark before “logout=true”. Sweet system.
